Creative Commons
Creative Commons is a non-profit organisation that helps people share their copyright works for reuse by others. Sometimes creators and other copyright holders want the public to be able to reuse their works but are unable to allow reuse easily and legally given the works’ “All Rights Reserved” copyright status. Creative Commons licences enable copyright holders to allow reuse of their works by giving everyone a range of permissions in advance.

NetSafe is an independent not-for-profit with an unrelenting focus on online safety and security. Our purpose is to enable all New Zealand Internet users to confidently access digital opportunities and prevent online harm. NetSafe enjoys being part of NetHui as we get to talk to internet users all over the country.

Telecommunications Users Association of New Zealand
TUANZ exists to inform, educate and advocate for all users of ICT. We don’t represent an industry, we represent those who use ICT services, which is just about every company, organisation and individual in New Zealand. We are a membership association with over 29 years of positive telecommunications change in our history. We have been instrumental in getting connectivity to the top of the political agenda. Now we must prepare our members and the wider community to take full advantage of the opportunities provided. We intend to play a leading role in creating and promoting the vision of a New Zealand transformed by ultra fast connectivity.

The Nelson Regional Development Agency’s (NRDA) key objective is to facilitate the sustainable development of the region and enhance economic vitality by ‘making a measurable difference to areas it gets involved in with an emphasis on developing a unique and enduring regional identity. The enhancement of the application of digital technology is intrinsic to this objective and NRDA is delighted to support NetHui as a platform to further support our region in this area.

2020 Communications Trust
2020 Trust has been a proud supporter of NetHui since the first event in 2011. The 2020 Trust is a strategic partner of Internet NZ, working with local communities to deliver digital inclusion programmes that build New Zealanders’ computer and online skills: Computers in Homes, KiwiSkills Jobseeker, Stepping UP, and ICDL. NetHui provides a unique opportunity for attendees from diverse professions and communities to discuss and debate digital issues that are critical for the future of the Internet in New Zealand.

Crown Fibre Holdings
Crown Fibre Holdings was established to manage the Government’s investment in Ultra-Fast Broadband or “UFB.” More recently, we have also been asked to manage a commercial tender process for the extension of the Rural Broadband Initiative (known as “RBI2”) and the Mobile Blackspot Fund.
